H1 road repairs expected to slow traffic through Pearl City on Sunday and Monday

The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists traveling through Pearl City and Waipahu on the H1 westbound of multiple lane closures for viaduct road repairs between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp and the Waipahu Off-Ramp from 9 a.m. Sunday morning, April 7, through 5 a.m., Monday Morning, April 8.

The DOT also reports lane closures to two left lanes in the eastbound direction from the Kamehameha Highway Overpass to the H-1 /  H-2 merge from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The DOT is also asking motorists to drive with caution through the work areas as well as to allow for extra travel time.

 

Lane Closures on Lehua Avenue between 1st and 2nd Street

The DOT reports lane closures on Lehua Avenue in both directions between 1st Street and 2nd Street from 9 a.m. Sunday morning, April 7, through 5 a.m. Monday Morning, April 8. Repair crews will be working on viaduct deck repairs. Traffic will contra flowed through the remaining open lanes.
