Momilani Elementary School took home another championship title at the 2013 Pearl City Complex Track Meet held on Friday, April 26 at Pearl City High School's Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium.
Momilani Elementary School was one of eight Pearl City District Complex elementary schools that participated in the annual track meet on Friday. The Momilani Boys and Girls teams won the overall championship title with a combined score of 206 points. Runner-up Kanoelani Elementary School finished with a combined score of 181 points.
Pearl City Complex student athletes competed in 40 events during the three-hour track meet championships.
The Pearl City High School Chargers Track Team hosted the event. PCHS track team volunteers and their coaches coordinated each event and also recorded the official times and order of finish for each race participant.
The hundreds of runners who turned out to represent their schools durng the 2013 Pearl City Complex Track Meet had a great time competing in front of packed house of family, friends, and classmates who filled the stadium stands to cheer on the track and field athletes.
Congratulations to all of the participants who ran their hearts out while delivering their best effort in the spirit of competition.
