Manana Elementary School celebrated May Day on Wednesday, May 1, with a "May Day is Lei Day" themed program that was presented and performed by the student body to family and friends on the school grounds. The May Day event was blessed with a bright and sunny day under a crystal clear blue Hawaiian sky.
Manana Elementary School students Sean Sugai and Alize Pagaduan-Ragragola served as the Master & Mistress of Ceremonies. (They did a terrific job!). After opening words from Principal Bryan Loo, special invited guests were introduced by Sean and Alize. Manana students opened the program with a chant, followed by the singing of Hawai'i Pono'i .
Each class from Preschool / R.S.K. through Sixth grade performed to the delight of the crowd.
