Lehua Elementary recognizes school volunteers at appreciation breakfast

Lehua Elementary School held their annual Lehua Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Friday, May 3 in the school cafeteria. Volunteers who donated their time to help out the school with various projects throughout the current school year were invited to enjoy a very generous Buffett breakfast and also to receive an appreciation certificate from the school administration and student body. Each volunteer also received a beautiful thank you card designed by the students.

Lehua Elementary School had over 170 dedicated volunteers pitch in during the 2012-2013 school year. Volunteers representing Lehua Elementary School parents, community organizations such as the Pearl City Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Pearlridge as well as from the Military were recognized for their efforts in support of the school.

Dedicated hearts like yours are not so easy to find.
It takes a special person to be so generous and kind.
To care so much for your fellow man is a quality all too rare.
Yet you give of your time and talents, for all in need to share.
So thank you for being a volunteer, we're privileged to work with you.
We want you to know how appreciated you are, not just today,
but the whole year through.
