Pearl City’s Diamond wins Gold!

Pearl City's Diamond Briscoe led the Pearl City Chargers at the awards podium at the HHSAA State Track and Field Championships held at Mililani High School on Saturday, May 11, 2013. The Pearl City High School junior won gold in the Girls 400 Meter Dash and also placed second in the Girls 100 Meter Dash and 200 Meter Dash. Briscoe also ran on the Lady Chargers 4X400 Meter Relay team that finished in 7th place.

Maile Shigemasa also reached the awards podium for the Lady Chargers after finishing in 6th place in the Girls 3000 Meter Run.

Isaac Amorin picked up a couple medals with 5th place finishes in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump events.

Daicorri Briscoe finished in 5th place in the 400 Meter Dash.

Team Championships were won by Baldwiin High School (Boys) and Punahou High School (Girls).

Congratulations to the Chargers for another successful track and field season!
