Memorial Day 2013, honoring the ultimate sacrifice made for our freedom

 

Hawaii Boy Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs from the Aloha Council and Boy Scouts of America, along with visiting Boy Scouts of America Troops, placed American Flags and Hawaiian Lei's on the graves of our nation's fallen heroes at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific on Sunday, May 26, 2013.

The Scouts graced over 10,000 graves at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in preparation for Memorial Day Services scheduled for Monday, May 27.

American Military Heroes representing the following wars and conflicts are honored each year for their bravery and honor while protecting the safety and well-being of all American citizens at home, and around the world:

WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Gulf Wars, Afghanistan, Global War on Terrorism

Lifted Spirits,

Honored Souls.
