Honolulu Burger Company owner Ken Takahashi has built a reputation in the burger business world for serving up a great selection of tasty, juicy, classic burger offerings that has given his loyal following of burger lovers an opportunity to indulge in a mixture and combination of ingredients and flavors that has helped rank his business amongst the top in Hawaii.
"We do have a bunch of different types of burgers available," said Takahashi. "Our most popular ones are our Blue Hawaii which is a simple blue cheese and bacon. Everybody seems to like that as well as our Mushroom Mushroom Burger which has a ton of mushrooms on top of a burger with Swiss cheese."
Mr. Takahashi owns two Honolulu Burger Company locations on Oahu. On Beretania Street and in Kahala near the Kahala Shopping Center. Expanding his business to reach out to the Leeward side is something that he's always wanted to do. Being a part of the Nalo Farms Leeward Farmers Market has already proven to be a success in allowing his business to connect and bond with Leeward side residents while sharing his original Honolulu Burger Company product line of gourmet, 100% Big Island range-fed beef burgers.
"We’ve been open for about three years now," Takahashi said. "We are also in two locations, on Beretania Street across from Times Supermarket and Grace's between Keeaumoku and Pensacola, and we just opened up a new store in Kahala, right across the mall next to the Shell Service Station. This is the third event with Nalo Farms here at the Leeward Farmers Market at Leeward Community College. It’s been a great event and it’s something that we’ve always wanted to do is come out on the Leeward side and see what the market is like. The people are great and we’ve had a great reception for the last three weeks. We invite everyone to come out and hope to see you next week!"
This past Sunday, August 25, Ken Takahashi was joined by Emerson Lewis, General Manager of the Kahala location along with Ken's niece, Sachi Yoneda who was visiting from Japan. They really hit it off with an appreciative crowd while serving up their specialty burgers, truffle fries, and cold drinks.

Hours of Operation Time Change:
New Hours: 9am-12:30pm
Nalo Farms has changed the hours of operation at the Leeward Farmers Market from 10am-2pm to new hours from 9am to 12:30pm. The Leeward Farmers Market is held every Sunday at Leeward Community College's Parking Lot C.
