Pearl City improves to 4-2 after blanking Waipahu 7-0

Pearl City improved their  regular season record to 4-2 in OIA Red Western Division Varsity Boys Soccer competition after defeating Waipahu 7-0 Tuesday night at Pearl City High School's  Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium.

Paul Enriquez led all scorers with two goals.

The Chargers took a 2-0 lead into the halftime and scored another 5 unanswered goals down the stretch in the second half.

Pearl City has four games remaining in the regular season and return to action on Friday, January 10 at Campbell to take on the Sabers. The Chargers continue play on the road at Waianae on Tuesday, January 14 and return home to play league leading Radford (6-0) on Friday, January 17 and finish out the regular season at home against Aiea on Monday, January 20.
