The Hawaii Foodbank announces its Annual Food Drive Kick-Off Breakfast scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom from 8:00am – 9:00am. Please log on to: http://www.hawaiifoodbank.org for more information.


The Hawaii Foodbank Mission Statement
“The people of Hawaii are one ohana. The Hawaii Foodbank provides food
so that no one in our family goes hungry. We work to gather food and support from
our communities. We then distribute food through charitable agencies to those in need.

Generous donations of rice and canned goods from the community made its way by the by truck load to the

Pearl City Shopping Center drop-off collection area during the 24th Annual Hawaii Foodbank Food Drive.

Volunteers also collected canned food and cash donations from motorists along

Kamehameha Highway and Waimano Home Road fronting the Pearl City Shopping Center.
