Mililani over Pearl City 4-2, wins OIA JV Girls Soccer Championship

Mililani kept their dominance in junior varsity girls’ soccer after defeating Pearl City 4-2 to capture the 2014 Oahu Interscholastic Association Red Division Girls Junior Varsity Soccer Championship on Saturday, January 18 at Mililani High School.

It was the second win for Mililani over Pearl City with the first win coming in the regular season 3-1.

Both Mililani (W1) and Pearl City (W2) represented the OIA Red Western Division in the OIA championship title game. Mililani finished the regular season and post season with a perfect 10-0 record. Pearl City finished at 8-2.

Mililani defeated OIA Red Eastern Division runner-up Kahuku 4-0 in the championship semifinals on Thursday, January 17 at Mililani High School to advance to the title game. Pearl City knocked off OIA Red Eastern Division champion Kaiser 2-1 to reach the championship.
