Kaiser bumps Pearl City 3-0 in OIA Red Soccer Championship Quarterfinals

The Kaiser Cougars blanked the Pearl City Chargers 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the Oahu Interscholastic Association Red Division Boys Soccer Championship Tournament on Wednesday at Mililani High School.

With the win over Pearl City, Kaiser advances to the championship semifinals and will face Mililani tonight at 6:30pm at Mililani High School. Kapolei will battle Kalani in the other semifinal game at 5:00pm. Both games will be telecast live on Oceanic Cable's OC16.

Pearl City will play Kahuku tonight in a consolation semifinal match-up for fifth place in the tournament.  The game is scheduled for 5:00pm at Leilehua High School. Moanalua will take on Kalaheo in the other semifinal game at 6:30pm.

The top six OIA tournament finishers will qualify for a berth in the HHSAA Division I Hawaii State Boys Soccer Championships scheduled for February 12-15 at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex.
