The following is a notice from Kiewit Construction regarding construction work between Acacia Road and Waimano Home Road in Pearl City:
Acacia intersection closure will start on Tuesday night, 02/18 after 9 PM for next week. Waimano Home Road will be open as an alternative route.
Night time lane closure impacts from 7:30 pm to 5:30 am: * Closure of 2 inside westbound lanes including left-turn lanes; 1 westbound lane and 2 eastbound lanes open * Acacia Rd/ Kamehameha-Hwy intersection closed – restrictions on left-turns from Kamehameha-Hwy from either westbound or eastbound.
Traffic congestion at the Acacia Road intersection will delay the intersection closure to start at 9 PM. Crews will be in this area for about 4 months to complete waterline and storm drain line relocations. This specific work is currently scheduled for nighttime only.
