Memorial Day 2014, honoring service and sacrifice for our country

May 26, 2014 | PC Community

Today our country honors our American Veteran Heroes for their service, bravery, and ultimate sacrifice in time of conflict and peace that has kept past and present American citizens safe and secure in our homeland and foreign lands around the world. The men and women of our armed forces continue their duty today, to protect and defend our country and its people while placing their lives in harm’s way.

We send our prayers in gratitude and respect to the many souls buried at the National Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl and other National Cemeteries in Hawaii and around our country as well as cemeteries in other parts of world and battlefields that honor our fallen heroes.

Mahalo to our Scouts!

Hawaii Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, joined visiting Scouts to place leis on the graves of our fallen American Veteran Heroes in honor of their service and sacrifice to our country on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
