The City Department of Emergency Services announced that Pearl City High School (2100 Hookiekie Street – pet friendly) will serve as 1 of 10 American Red Cross hurricane shelters on Oahu. The PCHS emergency shelter opened to the public at 10:00pm on Thursday.
The state has also canceled all road construction on state highways and roadways through 10:00pm on Sunday.
Rail construction is also halted along with lane closures through Sunday.
