Pearl City's Dominic Maneafaiga led a potent Chargers offense scoring four touchdowns in a 46-13 blow out over the visiting Kaimuki Bulldogs last night at Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium. The Chargers remain unbeaten in league play at 3-0.

Manaefaiga got the Chargers on their feet after taking the opening kick off 81 yards for a touchdown to give the Chargers an early 6-0 lead. Maneafaiga also scored on a second quarter 10 yard pass from QB Jordan Taamu, a late 2nd quarter 62 yard run that put the Chargers up 33-13 at halftime, and a late third quarter 20 yard touchdown run that gave the Chargers a 46-13 lead.

Pearl City also scored on a first quarter 6 yard touchdown pass from Jordan Taamu to MJ Keopuhiwa that gave the Chargers a 12-0 lead. Taamu connected with Maneafaiga to convert the 2-point conversion. The Chargers picked up another six points on second quarter 10 yard touchdown pass from Taamu to Keelan Domingo-Ishikawa and a third third quarter fumble recovery deep in Bulldog territory by Pjay Soloman,

Kaimuki scored on a first quarter 8 yard touchdown pass from Bulldogs QB Tevita Lino to Nixon Siona and a second quarter 81 yard kick off return by Sean Noda.

Pearl City QB Jordan Taamu completed 9 of 14 passes for 125 yards and three touchdowns.

Dominic Maneafaiga led all rushers with 170 yards on 7 carries and 2 touchdowns.

Tevita Lino picked up 49 yards on 5 carries to lead the Bulldogs ground game.

The Chargers return to action on Friday, September 5 against Anuenue at Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 6:00pm. No JV game scheduled.

#78 Pjay Solomon scores on a fumble recovery in the third quarter that

increased the Chargers lead over the Bulldogs to 39-6. Joseph Komomua

converted the PAT to put the Chargers firmly in control of the ball game at 40-13.
