The Pearl City Chargers hosted yesterday's Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) Pre-Season Cross Country Meet before a large crowd of supporters that packed Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium on the campus of Pearl City High School.

Charger boys and girls varsity and junior varsity cross country teams competed against teams representing all OIA Schools on the hilly 3 mile PCHS course. Runners ran two laps around the school campus with the start/finish line positioned on the stadium track.

The OIA Cross Country schedule has a bye week this week with the final pre-season meet scheduled for Saturday, September 27 at the Kaiser High School Invitational that will include teams from all OIA and ILH schools.
