Mahalo for supporting PCCA BBQ Chicken Fundraiser!

Sep 29, 2014 | PC Community

The Pearl City Community Association (PCCA) Board of Directors and its membership would like to say mahalo to the Pearl City community for supporting the PCCA BBQ Chicken & Sushi Fundraiser held on Sunday, September 28 at Pacheco Park in Pearl City.

A very dedicated and energetic group of volunteers from Pearl City High School's Key Club, PCHS Student Athlete Honor Society, and PCHS Project Grad Program, along with community volunteers from the Pearl City Lions Club, Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club, Waiau Seniors Club, Pearl City Foundation, and HomeStreet Bank, joined forces with the PCCA Board of Directors and their ohana on Sunday to help make the chicken fundraiser pick-up run smoothly while showing their appreciation to the community for turning out in support of the PCCA's efforts to raise much needed funding for our Pearl City schools and students.

Funds raised from the chicken fundraiser will go towards supporting the financial needs of students in the Pearl City District Complex. The PCCA provides annual cash donations for our Pearl City elementary schools, Highlands Intermediate School, and Pearl City High School.

"We appreciate all of the groups and individuals who came together in support of our chicken fundraiser," said PCCA President Jits Fujimura. "Our community is always there for us and especially for our schools. Funds raised will help the PCCA provide scholarships to deserving Pearl City High School seniors. It also provides funding for Pearl City school programs and extracurricular activities. Mahalo to our PCCA membership for their support throughout the year."

Thank you to the Pearl City community for your continued support and generosity!
