I would like to share a few more photos and coverage from Saturday, November 1, 2014 HHSAA State Bowling Championships won by the Pearl City Chargers Boys and Girls bowling teams in Kona on the Big Island.

The Chargers worked hard to win both the Girls and Boys team championships. The Lady Chargers mounted  a come from behind performance on the third day of competition to win their fourth straight state team bowling championship in a row. For the boys, they pulled off an amazing 5-PEAT performance.

"It was the most exciting come from behind to win it in the bottom of 7th inning (to put it in softball terms!," said Lisa Frost (Kristin's mom) who traveled with the team and along with Yolanda Nakamura provided the great championship photos.

In the individual competition, Pearl City's Chelsi Morishige (runner-up) and Ashlyn Castro (6th) finished in the top ten.

For the boys, Pearl City's Imi Nakamura (4th) and Kristopher Yadao (7th) also placed in the top ten rankings.
