I would like to say mahalo to Kahala Associates realtors and community volunteers Christina and Yumi Laney, who once again, along with a very special group of dedicated volunteers and sponsors, partnered to organize and collect over 2,407 lbs. of food from our very generous Pearl City community over the Thanksgiving weekend that directly benefited the Hawaii Foodbank.
This time of the year, during the Holiday season, the Hawaii Foodbank's shelves are depleted and community food drives become a lifeline to feed and support Hawaii's hungry. Christina and Yumi, through their annual Pearl City food drive, put food on the shelves of the Hawaii Foodbank via their love for their neighbors and those in need.
Aloha Neighbors, Family & Friends…Thanks to all of those who participated! We had over 221 homes & businesses donate bags of food totaling over 2,407lbs! That is over 1 in 4 homes & more than last year! (Documented at the Hawaii Foodbank).
The food we donated will go to those less fortunate this Thanksgiving & Christmas Season. A big Mahalo to Momilani Community Center, Hard Rock Café Honolulu, Outback Steak House, PCHS DECA Club, SOS Preschool & Hawaii Self Storage for their support. Also my friends/family & neighbors that helped volunteer!
May we be your community connection & real estate resource! Mahalo & God Bless from your Neighborhood Realtors,
Yumi & Christina
