Pearl City, Aiea play to 2-2 tie in OIA girls soccer

Pearl City and Aiea played to a 2-2 on Tuesday in Oahu Interscholastic Association Red Western Division Varsity Girls Soccer at Pearl City High School.

Pearl City's Jenise Starr Tagalog scored mid-way through the second half to break a 1-1 tie that gave the Lady Chargers a 2-1 lead but Aiea came back on a goal by Kaylie Matsunami late in the second half that tied the ball game at 2-2 where it ended as the final score.

Goals:

Aiea: Kaylie Matsunami, Katelyn Hamilton
Pearl City: Nikki Suwa, Jenise Starr Tagalog

Pearl City (6-1-1) and Aiea (6-1-1) are tied for second place in league play behind Mililani who sits in first place at 8-0.

Pearl City also said Aloha to the Senior Lady Chargers Classs of 2015 last night as they played in their last regular season home game of their careers.
