OIA Girls Varsity Water Polo: Kaiser 12 Pearl City 2

The Kaiser Lady Cougars overwhelmed the Pearl City Lady Chargers 12-2 yesterday afternoon in Oahu Interscholastic Association varsity girls water polo played at Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio.

Barbara Bevacqua led the Lady Cougars with three goals. Cassidy Essex and Karlee Kawasaki scored a goal each for the Lady Chargers.

Kaiser improved to 2-0 in the OIA B Division while Pearl City is 0-1.

Both schools get back in the pool this Wednesday, March 18 as Pearl City goes up against Mililani at Roosevelt at 3:30pm, while Kaiser takes on Kalaheo at Kaimuki at 4:45pm.

Pearl City goalie Karlee Kawasaki loaded up and scored the Lady Chargers second goal on a

bomb that went almost the length of the pool and into the Lady Cougars net in the second half.
