Campbell ace Favela strikes out 10, shuts out Pearl City 4-0

Campbell shut out Pearl City 4-0 on Tuesday at McKinley Lady Tigers Stadium behind an outstanding pitching performance by Lady Sabers ace Elisa Favela who went the distance allowing three hits while striking out ten in seven innings of work. Favela also batted 2-4 with a RBI for the Sabers.

Pearl City starting pitcher Tyanna Kaaialii pitched 6 innings for the Lady Chargers allowing four runs on seven hits while striking out nine with six walks. Kaaialii also went 1-2 with a double from the plate

The Lady Sabers remained undefeated at 4-0 in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division 1 West league standings while the Lady Chargers evened their record at 2-2.

Pearl City returns to action on Saturday, March 21 on the road against Waianae. Campbell has a bye before taking on Mililani on Tuesday, March 24 at Mililani.
