The Pearl City Chargers battled back from two games down to defeat McKinley last night 23-25, 30-32, 25-18, 25-21, 15-7 in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II boys varsity volleyball championship semifinals at Kaiser High School.

W1 Pearl City will play E3 Castle for the OIA Division II Boys Varsity Volleyball Championship on Thursday, April 30, 5:30pm at Radford High School. E2 McKinley's post season ended with the loss to the Chargers.

Castle took down E1 Kaiser in five games, 28-26, 22-25, 26-28, 25-23, 15-7 in the second match of the semifinal doubleheader at Kaiser to advance to the championship title match.

Pearl City and Castle qualified for the HHSAA Division II State Championship Tournament scheduled for May 14-16 (Thursday-Saturday) at Moanalua & Farrington High Schools & Blaisdell Arena.
