Memorial Day 2015, Honor and Respect for America’s Fallen Warriors

May 25, 2015 | PC Community

I would like to send my prayers to the souls of America's service men and women who served their country with bravery and honor in time of war and peace. America remains safe and free today because of their commitment and ultimate sacrifice made in time of conflict at home and in foreign lands and battlefields around the world.

I pray that the men and women of our armed forces remain safe as they protect and defend our country against the threat of terrorism.

Mahalo to the Scouts from here in Hawaii and around the world who placed leis and American flags on the graves of our fallen heroes on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the National Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl and other National Cemeteries in Hawaii and across our nation.

I would also like to send a special prayer in honor of my father, Robert Villamil (Retired, MSGT, USMC)  who defended his country in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
