Pearl City Little League Juniors Advance to State Championship Game

Pearl City continued its dominating play in the semi-final game of the Hawaii State Junior Little league Tournament held at Kaneohe District Park today.

Pearl City defeated Aiea 8-1 in 7 innings. Carter Hirano got the start for Pearl City and completed 6 innings of play giving up 1 run on 3 hits and a walk, while striking out 5 batters.

Cade Halemanu relieved Hirano in the 7th inning striking out the side to end the game.

Pearl City got off to a hot start in the 1st inning going up 3-1. Then, things remained quiet until Pearl City added 2 more runs in the 6th, and 3 runs in the 7th.

Pearl City advances to the Hawaii State Juniors Little League Championship game on Tuesday, July 21st @ 1pm. Pearl City will await the winner of the Aiea/Kaneohe game on Monday, July 20th.
