Pearl City Juniors opened pool play on Wednesday at the 2015 Little League Western Regionals in Vancouver Washington. Pearl City started the tourney in high gear with a victory over Billings Montana 20-0 in 5 innings.
Carter Hirano started on the mound giving PC a lead of 14-0 before being relieved by Joey “Cello” Casarez in the third inning. Casarez closed and sealed the victory for Pearl City after 5 complete innings played.
Pearl City returns to pool play on Thursday vs. Ketchikan Alaska at 3pm, Hawaii time. Top two teams from each pool advance to the semi-final game set for Tuesday, August 11.
