The Pearl City Lady Chargers defeated the Radford Lady Rams on Thursday 26-24, 25-22 in OIA West D2 Girls Varsity Volleyball played at the Lady Rams home court.
Pearl City improved to 5-4 (overall, league) and 2-0 (OIA D2 West). Radford is 6-3 (overall, league) and 2-1 (OIA D2 West). The Lady Chargers will wrap up the regular season next Tuesday, October 6 against the Waipahu Lady Marauders 1-8 (overall, league) and 1-1 (OIA D2 West) at Waipahu High School. It will be the Lady Chargers third road match in a row. A win over the Lady Marauders will earn the Lady Chargers a perfect 3-0 record and capture the OIA West D2 Varsity Girls Volleyball Championship.
It was a big night for the Pearl City Lady Chargers volleyball program on Thursday as all three divisions came away with 2-0 straight set wins over the Lady Rams.
