Congratulations to the Pearl City Lady Chargers who defeated Kalani on Saturday to win the Oahu Interscholastic Association Team Air Riflery Championship at the Pearl City High School Shooting Range.
Pearl City outscored Kalani 2,096.5 to 1,961.23. to win the championship team title.
Danielle Tanabe (537.11) won her second consecutive girls OIA individual championship.
Teammates Jennifer Loui (534.17) and Madison Hataishi (518.15) placed 2nd and 3rd for a sweep of the top three individual shooters to grace the awards podium.
Kiara-Lin Wasano (507.07) 5th, Kiara Eltagonde (485.08) 12th, Kylee Wasano (483.09) 15th, Joley Nakakmura (477.07) 18th all contributed in Lady Chargers team championship win.
Charger Boys place second in team competition
The Charger Boys (1,985.22) finished runner-up to newly crowned OIA Team Champion Moanalua (2,00.29)
Waianae's Joel Endo (518.11) won the individual OIA championship
