The red hot Pearl City Lady Chargers White Varsity and Junior Varsity volleyball teams will be gunning for Oahu Interscholastic Association Division 2 Championships tonight at Farrington High School after sweeping through the semifinals last night at Pearl City High School.
The (W1) Lady Chargers White Varsity swept (E2) McKinley 21-17, 21-19 to advance to the championship match. The Lady Chargers will face (E1) Farrington who defeated (W2) Waipahu last night 21-10, 21-11.
In the Junior Varsity semifinals, the (W1) Lady Chargers swept (E2) Kailua 21-10, 21-17 to advance to the championship match. The Lady Chargers will take on (E1) Farrington who defeated (W2) Radford in three sets, 11-21, 22-20, 15-12.
Tonight's OIA D2 championship volleyball doubleheader between top seeds Pearl City and Farrington will tip off with the White Varsity championship at 5:30pm and the Junior Varsity championship to follow.
