Rotarians, Lehua Elementary volunteers, help serve dinner at IHS Women & Children Shelter

Oct 19, 2015 | PC Community

Mary and I got another opportunity to help serve Sunday dinner to the women and children at the Institute for Human Services: Hawaii's Homeless Shelter in Iwilei with a group of wonderful volunteers from the Mililani Sunrise Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Pearlridge, and Lehua Elementary School staff.

It was another humbling and rewarding experience for all.

Mahalo to the Mililani Sunrise Rotary Club who organizes and financially supports the dinners for the those in need at IHS on the third Sunday of every other month throughout the year.

District 5000 Rotarians from the Mililani Sunrise Rotary Club and Rotary Club of Pearlridge are committed in working together to support the IHS and the Women and Children's Shelter through "Service Above Self".
