Pearl City drops OIA D2 tourney opener 45-35 to Kalaheo

Kalaheo bumped Pearl City 45-35 from the OIA D2 Varsity Girls Basketball Championship Tournament Saturday night with a 45-35 first round victory at Pearl City High School

Kalaheo's CC Pollard put in a solid offensive performance while leading the Lady Mustangs with 16 points.

Pearl City’s Ciera Sylva led all scorers with 18 points and (5) 3-pointers. 

Ashley-Tianna Amorin added 11 points for the Lady Chargers.

E3 Kalaheo will take on E1 Kaimuki,  and W1 Waipahu will meet E2 McKinley in the tournament championship doubleheader semifinals on Wednesday, February 3 at Moanalua High School.
