The Pearl City Lady Chargers advanced to the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division 1 varsity girls soccer championship semifinals after defeating Campbell 4-2 on Tuesday in the tournament quarterfinals played at Castle High School.
Sunshine Fontes led the Lady Chargers with three goals. Daelenn Tokunaga scored one goal.
Tokunaga (23) and Fontes (21) are one and two in the Division 1 overall scoring during regular and post season play so far in 2015-2016.
Lauryn Cabudol and Jaelyn Chargualaf scored a goal apiece for the Lady Sabers.
The Pearl City Lady Chargers will play Castle on Thursday, February 4 in the first match-up of the doubleheader semifinals at Kapolei High School. Mililani will take on Moanalua in the second semifinal at 7:00pm.
