The Pearl City Shopping Center welcomed in the Chinese New Year with a traditional Chinese Lion Dance Blessing performed by the Lung Kong Physical Cultural Club on Friday, February 12.
The Lung Kong Physical Cultural Club made their way around the Pearl City Shopping Center beginning near Dave's Ice Cream at 5:30pm. The club's Chinese Lion blessed participating businesses throughout the property.
As tradition, the lion made a special stop at Dr. Glenn Okihiro's office to bless his business and staff. The event ended at the House of Dragon Chop Suey Restaurant at around 6:30pm.
