Four Lady Chargers land on state tournament team, Tokunaga named Most Outstanding Player

Congratulations to the Pearl City Lady Chargers who landed four players on the 2106 HHSAA Division 1 State Girls Soccer Championship All Tournament Team.

(So) Daelenn Tokunaga led the way earning the Most Outstanding Player award. (Fr) Sunshine Fontes, (Fr) Bree Fuller, and (Sr) Sydney Young joined Daelenn as all tournament team selections.

Sunshine (6 goals) and Daelenn (3 goals) led the Lady Chargers in championship tournament scoring.

Sunshine (29 goals) and Daelenn (26 goals) finished the season 1st and 2nd in overall Division 1 scoring.

Sydney allowed just one goal in four state championship tournament games.

The Lady Chargers outscored their opponents 11-1.
