Alize Pagaduan is the 1st place winner in the Hawaii:Next 50 Contest essay grades 6-8 category. Mark Yago, has placed 2nd in the essay category for the 6-8 grade levels. Awardees will be recognized on Friday, March 18, 2016, at 12:00 noon, at a floor presentation before the State House of Representatives followed by lunch with Governor Ariyoshi and the Future Caucus.
