Kaaialii, Cabato lead Pearl City over Leilehua 7-2

Tyanna Kaaialii pitched a three hit, complete game while Ana Cabato batted 4-4 to lead the Pearl City Lady Chargers over the Leilehua Lady Mules in Oahu Interscholastic Association varsity softball played on Tuesday in Wahiawa.

Kaaialii allowed just two runs on three hits with eight strikeouts in seven innings of work for the Lady Chargers.

Leilehua's Chasity Stalcup took the loss for the Lady Mules. Stalcup allowed seven runs on eight hits in seven complete innings.

Ana Cabato was a perfect 4-4 at the plate with a RBI and a double for the Lady Chargers. Darian Obara 1-5, Run; Kristin Frost 1-4, Run: Kylie Tasaki 1-4; Noel Saunders 1-3, 2 Runs.

Leilehua bats woke up in the bottom of seventh inning with the power play of Pomai Nahulu and Mahea Calizo who hit back to back homeruns for the Lady Mules.

The Lady Chargers will travel to Mililani to take on the Lady Trojans (4-1) on Thursday, March 31 at 3:00pm.
