#1 Campbell over Pearl City 10-1, Robinson 2 HR, Cervantes 12K’s

The #1 ranked Campbell Sabers cruised past Pearl City 10-1 Saturday afternoon in Oahu Interscholastic Association varsity softball played at Pearl City High School.

Campbell's Darien Robinson supplied the power at the plate crushing two homeruns with 2-runs scored and 6 RBI in the ball game for the Lady Sabers.

Campbell ace Danielle Cervantes pitched a complete game to pick up the win for the Lady Sabers.  Cervantes allowed one run, three hits, with 12 strikeouts and two walks.

Pearl City's Tyanna Kaaialii took the loss for the Lady Chargers. Kaaialii allowed seven runs, five hits with six strikeouts and two walks. Kristin Frost pitched the sixth and seventh innings in relief of Kaaialii allowing three runs on three hits.

Kylie Tasaki, Taylor Shigeta, and Ana Cabato had one hit apiece for the Lady Chargers.

The Lady Chargers hit road to face Waianae on Thursday, April 14 with first pitch scheduled for 3:00pm.

Taylor Shigeta was one of three Lady Chargers who picked up a

hit off of Campbell starting pitcher Danielle Cervantes. Taylor Shigeta,

Kylie Tasaki and Ana Cabato all batted 1-3 in the ball game.
