The Pearl City Lady Chargers(6-6) closed out their Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division varsity softball regular season with a 5-0 shut-out win over Leilehua (4-7) on Saturday at Pearl City High School.
Pearl City ace Tyanna Kaaialii pitched a three hit, complete game shut-out with eight strikeouts and one walk.to lead the Lady Chargers over the Lady Mules.
Kaena Nistal took the loss for the Lady Mules. Nistal allowed five runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and one walk in six complete innings.
Kristin Frost and Noel Saunders homered for the Lady Chargers.
The Lady Chargers qualified for the upcoming 2016 Oahu Interscholastic Association DI varsity softball championship tournament.
