MyPearlCity.com would like to send our congratulations to newly crowned 2016 Oahu Interscholastic Association Girls Tennis Singles Champion, Pearl City freshman sensation Sarah Domingo. Sarah brought home the title after defeating defending OIA champion Lisa Owen from Mililani on Saturday at Central Oahu Regional Park in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
Sarah is the first freshman to win the OIA singles championship since Mililani's Alyssa Tobita captured the crown back in 2011.
Sarah will lead her Lady Chargers to the 2016 Carlsmith Ball State Tennis Championships scheduled from Thursday, May 5 – Saturday May 7, 2016 at the Orchid Mauna Lani & Mauna Lani Sports and Fitness Club on the Big Island.
