Highlands Intermediate Robotics team (under the direction of Ms. Okai) competed in the 2016 VEX Worlds – VEX Robotics Competition Middle School Division this past week (April 20 – 23) in Louisville, Kentucky. They made it to the quarter finals, falling in the second round to teams from Beijing, China. A total of 102 teams competed representing the USA, and other nations (i.e. China, S. Korea, Singapore, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Bahrain, Canada).
During the week they participated in numerous events and received an award for VRC Middle School Robot Skills Challenge World Champion.
