Former Pearl City Lady Chargers Head Coach Mike Morton returns to the court with the GYM RATS BASKETBALL CLUB for students ages 7-17.
"We want to start a basketball club for the community in the Pearl City area, so I decided to come back and start coaching again," said Coach Mike. "We're going to start with kids from 7 years old to 17. Anyway we can help in the community with basketball for girls and boys, we're going to get started. Anybody that wants come out and join our club your welcome to come out and see us. We're looking to go all year round. When the season starts for high school, we'll stop and go with elementary kids, and we're going to have some fun!"
Coach Mike and his coaching staff led the Lady Chargers to the 2012 Oahu Interscholastic Association Red Division Varsity Girls Basketball Championship Crown. It's nice to have him back in Pearl City sharing his expertise and experience while coaching the next generation of youth basketball stars!
