May 29, 2016 | PC Sports

The Honolulu Star Advertiser today announced Pearl City's Kristin Frost as a Division I Softball All-State First Team selection. Frost, who plays multiple positions for the Lady Chargers, made the all-star roster as an outfielder. Frost also compiled a record of 3-1 on the mound for the Lady Chargers.

Lady Chargers ace hurler Tyanna Kaaialii and outfielder Noel Saunders were both selected to the Second Team. Hope Casarez was selected as an Honorable Mention at third base.

All four Lady Chargers were also outstanding hitters during the 2016 regular and post seasons. Frost, Kaaialii, Saunders, and Casarez played integral roles both on offense and defense while leading the Lady Chargers to the semifinals of the 2016 HHSAA State Division I Softball Championship Tournament.
