Pearl City hammers Ewa Beach 28-1, advances to D7 championship

Pearl City blasted their way into the Hawaii Little League 9-10 District 7 Championship title round after defeating Ewa Beach 28-1 on Monday at Central Oahu Regional Park (CORP) in Waipio.

Pearl City will play undefeated Waipio (2-0) this afternnoon at CORP at 3:00pm in the double elimination formatted championship tournament. If Waipio wins, they will be crowned champions. If Pearl City wins, they will face Waipio in a winner-take-all for the D7 championship crown on Wednesday at CORP at 3:00pm.

Pearl City (3-1) suffered their only loss of the tournament to Waipio 7-2 on Sunday, June 12 at CORP.
