Pearl City sweeps MKH to capture D7 Seniors Little League Championship

Pearl City swept MKH 13-4, 3-1 on Sunday at Pride Field in Kapolei to capture the 2016 Hawaii Little League District 7 Seniors Championship Tournament Crown. Pearl City battled back from Saturday's 6-5 extra inning loss to MKH in the championship tournament opener. Pearl City's doubleheader sweep brought home the D7 Crown in the best of three championship series.

Brannon Liu picked up the win in game 2 of the championship series on Sunday, while Marcus Boyles earned the game 3 championship win for Pearl City.

Pearl City moves on to the state championship tournament scheduled for July 1-3 at Ala Wai Field. Pearl City (D7) will play D1 on Friday, July 1 at 2:00pm.
