Central East Maui beats Pearl City 7-4 to win 2016 Hawaii Little League Seniors State Championship Crown

Central East Maui captured the 2016 Hawaii Little League Senior State Championship after defeating Pearl City 7-4 on Sunday at Ala Wai Field. It was the second win for the newly crowned champions over Pearl City (7-4, 7-4) in the double elimination format championship tournament. Central East Maui finished the tournament at 3-0 while Pearl City finished even at 2-2.

Jyrah Lalim earned the win for Central East Maui. Cade Halemanu got the start for Pearl City.

Central East Maui moves on the 2016 West Regional Tournament scheduled for July 19 -25 in Sacramento, California.
