Pearl City over Kawaihau 12-4, advances to Hawaii Little League 50/70 State Championship game

Pearl City defeated Kawaihau 12-5 on Sunday to advance to the Hawaii Little League 50/70 State Championship game against Maui on Monday at Pride Field in Kapolei

Alijah Bala earned the win for Pearl City. Pinemua Epenesa displayed power at the hitting a 2 RBI triple in the top of the fourth inning and a RBI  double in the top of the fifth inning. Speedster Josiah Locquiao stroked a 2 run in-the-park homerun in the top of the seventh inning.

Pearl City vs. Maui first pitch is scheduled for 10:00am. If Maui wins, they will be crowned state champions,. If Pearl City wins, they will force a winner-take-all championship game to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
