The Pearl City Chargers pulled off a thrilling come-from-behind  21-20 victory over the Waipahu Marauders with no time left on clock in Oahu Interscholastic Association Division 2 Junior Varsity Football played on Saturday at Aiea High School.

Last night, the Chargers pounded an extra exclamation mark on the saying, “It’s Never Over Until It’s Over” as the Chargers found themselves trailing the Marauders 20-14 late in the fourth quarter with possession of the ball inside the Marauders 5 yard line and only 1.4 seconds remaining in the game. The Chargers would not be denied, scoring on a touchdown by Mel Oandasan as time expired to tie the game at 20-20. Thomas King kicked through the game winning PAT that put the Chargers up 21-20 and improved their league leading record to 3-1.
