The Rotary Club of Pearlridge (RCOP) began their annual distribution of free dictionaries to Aiea and Pearl City third grade students as a part of Rotary International Dictionary 5000 Project. Pearl City Elementary School was the first of twelve schools to receive their brand new dictionaries from the RCOP on Wednesday, September 7. Palisades Elementary and Lehua Elementary followed with RCOP volunteers presenting both schools with their free dictionaries on Friday, September 9.
Presentations will be made to third graders from the remaining schools within the next two weeks beginning tomorrow at Waiau Elementary School.
