56 Momilani Elementary third graders receive donated dictionaries from the Rotary Club of Pearlridge

Third grade students from Momilani Elementary School became the fifth out twelve schools to receive donated dictionaries so far this school year from the Rotary Club of Pearlridge.

I was fortunate for the opportunity to join Pearlridge Rotarians Lasar McCabe and Clifton Yasutomi to hand deliver 56 students and their teachers brand new dictionaries during a special presentation held on Wednesday, September 14 inside their classroom.

Mahalo to Momilani Elementary Vice Principal Mr. Garrett Arakawa, Counselor Mr. Lance Nishihara, and third grade teachers Mrs. Lenora Uyesato and Mr. Masuru Uchino for inviting me and my fellow Pearlidge Rotarians to their school on Wednesday to make the dictionary presentation to the third grade class. We were all impressed by the students politeness, intelligence, and happy character, that once again, made the annual presentation to Momilani Elementary an uplifting and a very special experience for us all.
