The Pearl City Lady Chargers defeated the visiting Waipahu Lady Marauders in a two set sweep 25-11, 25-13 on Tuesday, October 4 in Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Varsity Girls Volleyball. The Lady Chargers won for the third time in a row to finish out the regular season at 4-6 and earn the OIA D1 West #6 seed in the upcoming Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Championship Tournament that begins next week.
W6 Pearl City (4-6) will face E3 Farrington (9-2) in the first round on Wednesday, October 12 at Farrington High School. Tip-off is set to follow the 5:30pm first round contest between E5 Kalani (6-5) vs. W4 Leilehua (6-4).
